Hi everyone,
I'm setting up a UV-6090F Star V flatbed with 3 x Epson I3200 heads (white / color / varnish) and I'm stuck at the last step: the machine connects, but I can't print.
What works
- Direct Ethernet link: PC 192.168.127.100 ↔ printer 192.168.127.10, port 5001 (ping and TCP test OK)
- PrintExp connects and shows "Device Ready", and it reads the mainboard and head board information
- Mainboard program: 5.7.9.3.32.R.BS
- Firmware: 3.74_1.24_I3200_3H_24.0813
- PrintExp version: 5.8.1.1.119.R.Unicode
- Flexi (driver SUBLISTAR-UV-STAR III, 720x1800 6Pass, Sublistar ICC profile) generates the job, and it opens in PrintExp with status "Task Ready"
The problem
- The Print Mode dropdown is empty, so the job can't be printed
- In Advance → Rip Print, the Print Config / Print Mode list is also empty, and saving gives "Local parameters are invalid and cannot be saved!"
- Sending from Flexi via TCP 127.0.0.1:9100 (NWReceive) makes PrintExp disconnect from the printer
- My PrintExp copy didn't come from Sublistar, and its Config folder only has a generic configuration ("cfg_3.74_Gen_Flat"), with nothing for I3200 3 heads
- Printer Manager, the software listed on the Star V support page, does not connect to the machine ("Net Offline"), even though the network works
Questions
- Does the UV-6090F Star V use PrintExp (Hosonsoft) or Printer Manager (BYHX)? The installation guide says PrintExp, but the support page lists Printer
